I applied at VFS Cochin, Kerala. However, the processing and decision were made in BHC Chennai . I know the waiting is realy frustrating. From the recent time frame we can guess u will be hearing soon from them . So be confident and get ready for the happy news .

BALAJI, I made my first application on march 29,2012 . Unfortunately, my application was rejected on july 9th ( because of not providing enough evidence of my sponsor's mothers pension ) . Hii All, Thank U for all your support.It really means a lot to me in this difficult situation.Then about the next step, we are planning to re-apply.Eventhough we feel that they will overturn the decision during appeal, we cant say anything about the time duration.Appealing can take even 6-9 months.B...

My application has been rejected today......Reason - My hus's mothers pension is being credicted into his bank account in uk and we havent provided proof for that, so they considered that he is using public fund..... But he is having a good salary and also own house there ........So they can surely ...

They have taken 3.5 months to make sure she didnt meet English requirements.........HORRIBLE.......wht these people have been doing for past 3 months??? @A2345 ,have they quotted only this as the reason

Hii All, The latest update from VFS is that the settlement category may extend to 4 months (eventhough current processing time is 69 working days for cochin), because of their hectic schedule and least priority given to settlement cases...........very miserable, dont know what to say, I'm heartbroken
