what i was told by my employers is that the ho can verify with hmrc if of course your salary goes thru the tax system(as that is gov to gov agencies) but cant force your employer to disclose this as they may only agree to verify if you work there or not and your company may verify your earnings ...

hiya, from experience no, the overdraft as long as its within its limit that shouldnt be a problem- when i was extending my tier one, my current account was on a overdraft of 1800 pounds and my saving account had the required savings account and that was fine- all the best

i stand to be corrected here but i think you can make arrangement with hmrc to pay whatever tax outstanding by instalment , u can enquire in general terms from hmrc without giving them much details of yourself that way you can make a decision based on the options you have.
