I have applied for tier general extension and its been 5 months and no reply till now... i am planning to withdraw as i need to be India in next 2 weeks can any one suggest procedure to withdraw the application how many days for the passport to get back???? will they sent it back or ask to collect ...

as per rules you are not suppose to keep maintenance fund intact once you have applied. but it is a good idea to leave it as it is because, god forbid, for some reason your application is considered invalid or rejected and you decide to reapply you will need to show maintenance fund for previous 3 ...
