Has anyone?

Hold on (like the U2 song)

Dear all To all those who are waiting all I can say is hold on and you shall get your ILRs soon. I can understand this is incredibly frustrating and going by what most of you are going through (or have gone through) it seems I was fortunate to get my ILR in 7 months. I applied on the 16th of Aug 201...

Re: My ILR arrived

I am a 3rd of September 2012 applicant and my ILR has arrived today after 7 months of wait (thanks to the grace and mercy of Jedi Masters, goes without saying). What arrived is a piece of plastic card decorated with my badly taken passport picture in the front. I am happy as it is now over. Please ...

Also technically I am g...

Don't wish to bust anyone's bubbles but why are there so many discussions on this thread Re:FLR(M) as I don't think it's relevant to this conversation topic. Also its been over 6 months for me (applied on the 18th of Aug) called MP & UKBA - everyone is asking to wait ( I wasn't expecting any miracle...

4. You must be free of immigration time restrictions on the date of application, and have been free of immigration time restrictions for the twelve month period before making the application (see the section on Immigration Time Restrictions). Doesn't that point mean that you should have 1 year of t...

I am fascinated that there are five people on the spreadsheet waiting for over 50 weeks - you folks must have contacted you MPs right ? or better still contact BBC Watchdog. A few months ago I saw an advert in the Civil Services Portal for 50 caseworkers in UKBA Liverpool. They'd better have been re...

Just called UKBA and after the mere 12 mins wait - was put through to a person - all she could say that you have to wait and thats it. It has been more than 6 months since application. There is nothing else she could say. I have already contacted my MP and will be sending a letter to UKBA ( I wonder...

Is the UKBA a shambles

Something I came across. TNT is putting together case studies to take to the UKBA – if you’re one of the many with a horror story, we want to help. Get in touch. Hi Mr Singh and Hyper-PK

I applied on the 18th of August 2012 and the wait is killing me just as much - but I am trying not to think about it too much.

Would love to get hold of my PP so that I can go and visit my family in India.

Just stay positive is all I can say.

Paying by cheque

Thinking of paying by cheque , what does it mean when it asks you to "Cross the cheque" and also since the form is several pages, can I use a clip/staple to keep it together or does UKBA take objection to it?
