Dear members,
I have got my ILR more than 12 months ago on completion of 5 years on my Tier-1. I am about to submit my naturalisation application. Just want to clarify quick doubt.

"Am I required to be present in the UK exactly 12 months before the date of application?"

Kind Regards,
Ram

Re: My account frozen

If you have to submit a bank statement (Ex: for co-habitation) avoid using the statements of frozen accounts. Bank may not confirm the details of frozen account incase of verification checks. That could cause unwanted mess.

2 years back dated from the date of application. 6 documents evenly spread across last 2 years. I think he meant to say 6 documents over the period of 2 years, not from 6 different sources. For Example: Bank statements on both of your names for the period; 1. Jun 2017 2. Oct 2017 3. Mar 2018 4. Oct...

Hi Ilrent,
As most of the CT paper work is online, only physical documents will be your CT41G, notices to deliver CT Returns and CT Bills. If you have any of these physical piece of papers I would suggest to send along with CT600 to keep the case worker satisfied.

Re: ILR and Speeding Points

If you acquired points just for speeding with out involving any other motor offence and you paid the fixed penalty with out needing to go to court - you should be fine.
You don't even need to mention about fixed penalty speeding tickets & parking tickets in your application.
