Re: Anyone fined £1000 for not returning BRP?

Also, now that the pandemic is over, would we still have six months to attend the ceremony, or will it be curtailed to three months soon? If it is six months, then they will attend the ceremony after returning to the UK (which was my initial plan before seeing that some are getting approvals within ...

Re: BC application with expired passport

Basically, if I say "No", the system asks: "Reason for not providing your passport". On clicking "Other" and entering "Passport available but expired" it asks: "Are you able to provide details of your passport using a copy of the information?" On saying "Yes", It asks for details, including Expiry d...

BC application with expired passport

My daughter and wife are applying for British Citizenship. My daughter's passport has expired. For the question "Do you have a valid passport?", if I answer No, the system doesn't give an option to allow stating that the passport has expired. Instead, it goes in a different direction altogether. My ...

Re: BC query and tentative timeline

Done! At the end of "Submit documents", it says: You have successfully submitted your documents to UKVI Thank you for successfully submitting your documents. If you need to upload additional documents you can continue to do so and a UKVCAS agent will ensure they are submitted to UKVI at your appoin...

Re: BC query and tentative timeline

On the UKVCAS page for uploading the documents, it states the following: " Scan in Greyscale or Black and white: To help contain the files size to 6MB please scan in ‘Greyscale’ or ‘Black and white’ and not in ‘Colour’. It is also helpful to keep the resolution between 150 dpi (dots per inch) to 300...

Re: BC query and tentative timeline

On the referee form, it says: "On the back of the applicant’s photograph, please write their full name and date of birth. The photograph should then be glued into the space aside. What's the point in the referee writing the name and DoB on the back of the photo if that side is to be glued!? I guess ...
