Thanks Amber....the reason i had to seek advice was to clarify my doubts cos my lawyer said i can only apply 28 days to when my visa would be expiring in january 2014 even when i told him on UKBA website it states to apply 28 days before 2years anniversary, but he was adamant on what he was saying....

If you have left the country for more than 2 years and don't have a strong connection with the country, you will be questioned at the airport. You may have to apply an entry clearance before travel.
