My wife joined me in Jan 2012 as a WP dependent, will she be granted ILR or as my dependent? 2. Why Cohab documen...

re:

to get ILR your wife must live here for minimum 2 years. when you applied for ILR, your wife will need to apply for FLR(M), then when she gets to 2 years, she can apply for the set(O).
the cohab is to show that your wife is living with you. they will need this docs to extend her stay

also for your tier 2. you do not need to report to ukba for a technical change if you change your weekly working hours by less that 10%. so you can say that your hours have been reduced by 1-2hrs which is less that 10%.
please get confirmation with other members

info

the hourly rate is as per the SOC code, for the SOC job, not your actual salary.

your actual net salary is only needed in section 5.3

the rest of SOC, hourly and yearly is from the SOC list based on 37.5hrs.

nowhere on the form, do you have to put your actual hours

cheers

on the application form. it is the salary in the SOC code list which should be written.

your salary should only be on the part where it says, what is your income before tax. ( can't remember which page though)

the only way you can do that is to ask your HR to change the hours to 34.5hrs.

are the hours mentioned on your payslip?

Re: ILR HELP WITH TIER 2 SOC

I asked my HR team for the SOC code attached to my current job title, which hasn't changed from my first application. However when i checked the SOC code given to me by my HR team against the minimum hourly wage in the code of practice, it is £15.88 and based on a 37.5 week (£30,966), it works out ...

you have to write down the annual salary as it appears for the SOC code in the UKBA list which is

hourly rate x 37.5hrs x 52 weeks

the number of hours salary based on is 52x37.5hrs ( 1950)
