Hi I applied june of last year and only just received the 3-6 month letter last week. I was wondering whether we are allowed to travel whilst our application is being processed? I have my original documents so that's not an issue but is there any restrictions on how long you are out of the country ...

I thought one of the criteria for obttaining British citizenship is that you intend to live and establish yourself in the UK. If your last leave to remain was tie one general, you still need to show that you qualify for tie one at the point of applying for ILR.

I had to prove that I earned enough to get at least 75 points from tie one general calculator.


About the delivery, It was a man in a plain cloth driving a silver vauxhall astra estate who delivered it to me. He did ask me to show a form of id. He just looked at my driving license and said its ok.
