The child is 10 and lives with the mother. Can he register via MN1 or maybe apply for ILE?

i know i would get the naric if i were in your place.
or just give an ielts, which should be super easy for settlement requirement.

Re: Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General - maintenance letter question

they can add a cos note and provide a letter and that'll be fine.
I cant see anywhere on the link where it says what u have said above.
A dependent when applying for tier 2 main applicant category requires to prove maintenance, no matter how long they have lives here.

Re: Tier 2 Licence Suspended. Need some help!

1. if you find a new job and change visas, she doesnt even have to change her visa. she can continue on her existing dependent visa as long as u have a visa. If she needs to renew it, she can renew within uk. 2 no one can tell u a figure of probability. 3. If the suspension is not sorted and is even...

Re: Tier 2 application - My name on documents

IMO, i dont think it will be a problem.
Also u do not need to submit your educational docs for visa process, unless you are relying on it to certify english requirement.. for which u will also need naric.

Re: Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General - maintenance letter question

1. It will have to be a personal account. If not possible, ask the employer to certify the maintenence.
2. false. nothing like that.

Re: Long Residence SET(LR) - application hold for further check

it depends on what your current visa is, if they have any doubt about you sticking with the conditions of your visa or any other checks on your employer, previous applications etc.
No one can predict how long it will take

Re: Conversion of UK visa- Tier 4 to Tier 2

as per the rules, u will need to complete the course, for which your visa is issued before u can change to tier 2. following this route, u will be exempt from rlmt. If you do not wish to complete your msc, and get a job, you could ask for a restricted cos, rlmt completed and then change from home co...

Re: Tier 2 General Migrant - Maintenance requirement worry

there is no descretion required. all your employer needs to do is add a cos note. the caseworker has not seen the cos notes yet, as that is done in his system, while he is determining your application. Another way to check if your cos has been viewed by caseworker yet or not is see the status of cos...

Re: Tier 2 General Migrant - Maintenance requirement worry

if a note is added, then u are safe. On the system that the caseworker uses, there is a step where he has to see if there is any note on cos or not, before moving on to next screen. So there should definitely not be a case, where he has not seen the cos note. Also on the form, make sure u say that y...

Re: Tier 2 Extension Delay

if you dont live in the uk, you will have to submit a proof of £62000 savings.
Other way around it is you coming to uk and having a salary of £18600 for at least 6 months before he can apply.

strange that they only asked 1 question.
delay is not uncommon.
possible reason for delay could be ukvi checking genuineness of vacancy and rlmt process.

1 no , only required for main applicant, that too only in cerain soc code jobs.
2. Not if you are applying at the same time. But still include marriage certificate, birth certificate of child etc. no need to add other docs.

as long as u arrive in the uk with your partner (main applicant), you can start work before he does. But u must enter with or after main applicant.

bank statement is useless now, since the balance dropped below.
The letter is fine. Ask sponsor to add a note to the cos as well. (they cant amend the cos but can add a note).
One this is done and a letter is attached to application, you should be fine.

IMO, if you are not travelling, u can continue and apply for ilr on LR. However, let others reply.
Do u work as well? U do know that u can combine salaries to make up 18600 required for your flrm.
