Also It is mandatory to provide a letter from employer , even if you were outside UK for one day. (This is mention in the form) I do agree with secret.simon. This proves that you are economically active/employed while out of UK. The more than 180 days would be special case, which was not applicable ...

Get the letter from employer. Your 44 days leave - is it in the last 15 months prior to application. Just asking and this should not be an issue as long as you meet the points from PBS calculator.
