Hi G_Sharma,

You were right. It arrived this morning! 4.5 months later.
I was starting to worry. It appears that they will accept applications submitted after the expiry, or at the very least read your cover letter and understand why it may have been late.

It seems to have really slowed down.

A friend of mine had her bio enrolment 12th June and got passport back within 4-5 weeks.

I enrolled 19th June and I am still waiting. 9 weeks and counting. I am not in the '75% in 4 weeks' group that is for sure.

Really?

I was under the impression that if they asked for biometrics that they have approved the application. Why would they request biometrics for applications that they may potentially still reject?

That seems more logical to me, but then again this is the Home Office.
