Understandably I got worried and emailed UKBA. The first response was a very standard I guess 'Having checked our re...

travelling to Bulgaria with CTD

I was wandering if someone could answer this question for me please. Can one travel to Bulgaria with a new Convention Travel Document without needing a visa? Thank you

CTD

Called UKBA today. Spoke to a nice lady - surprisingly :)
I applied in Sep '12 for CTD. She told me that they are currently dealing with the applications submitted in Aug'12. It looks like the waiting is nearly over - at least I really hope so :)

Cheers

He has been communicating with HO and he was told that they are currently looking at applications from July '12. The wait is really frustrating. If I knew beforehand that I had to wait for...

I think I will have to ask for my documents back (stupidly sent them all the originals). I'm soooo frustrated. Mainly because my brother applied later than me but he has already receiv...

!!!

Lets see, I applied on 30/4/12, biometric letter recieved on 18/7/12, biometrics taken on 24/7/12. I have indeed had my fingerprints and photos taken when I applied for an assylum. You have to do your biometrics regardless of previous application! Good luck guys!
