I think with kids it does not matter that much. It is merely a formality that you have to get referees. Do the best you can and it should be fine.

We used his british passport to go to pakistan and showed the pakistani passport at heathrow to check in. No problems, when we landed in pakistan we used pakistani passport t...

Re: What happens after you get MN1 for your kids?

I applied fast track for the passport. Minors, unlike adults, can use fast track service for their first passport and they do not need to be present at the appointment. You will have to however book an appointment and it can be weeks ahead in busy periods. If you havent got your childs certificate, ...

Maybe when you make a joint application, the certificate gets sent to the council where the ceremony is to take place. Maybe you can call your council and ask them if ...

The date is when the home office gets your application.

I submitted my son's application an year ago on monday and the ncs said that their posts are collected only on fridays, so the home office got the application on the following monday and that was the date on the confirmation letter.

I think the passport guidelines require photo t...

Hi Ozair, I am sure you must have had your NCS appointment by now, 2 questions: 1) Did they infact gave you an appointment before you had your ILR granted? 2) Did you or did you not have to carry your Biometric cards, or was the ILR approval letter enough for this purpose? Regards 1) Yes they booke...
