Re-consideration of the decision to refuse an application?

I should probably only have started this topic with a clear head and not all this pent up frustration and anger with the UKBA but as I have been told, I do not have much time, I need to get a few facts straight. A week ago, I received a letter from the Home Office telling me that my English qualific...

Re: British Citizenship : Letter Received - Additional Info

Thank you for the prompt response. Yes, I have passed the course as a Second Language. The certificate shows my grades in full detail including the oral exam. I must have misunderstood the application form and comments I have read here on the forum. People mentioned that you did not need to prove th...

British Citizenship : Letter Received - Additional Info Req

I've received a letter from the Home Office yesterday, badly hoping it was my letter to confirm citizenship but sadly not. They are now requesting additional information when I thought my case was pretty straight forward. Then again, no application with the Home Office has EVER gone smoothly for me,...

English Language Test - Cheapest Option?

Hello All, I have completed the Cambridge International examination approximately 10 years ago and lost my certificate in the chaos of relocating to the UK. It appears that I can not get another copy and will have to sit through another test to get the minimum UKBA requirements certificate. Now I'd ...

I am from a English majority speaking country, our national language is English but it is not on the Home Office's list of countries, will they still accept that? 2. As part of the edu...

Something weird is happening with my application, maybe someone here can shed some light on it. I applied for EEA4 via Retention of Rights in October 2012, been chasing the UKBA like a mad person since the 6 months elapsed. I've complained twice via email and once via signed for delivery, no respons...

I've applied for ROR via EEA4, been married for 5 years, lived in the UK since 2004. I've not changed employment for the last 7 and a half years, hold high level se...

They do not respond via email, best would be to call them... but good luck getting any information from them.

Pretty soon I'll be able to recite their entire script with the amount of phone calls I have made about the progress of my application.
