which college are you with?who is offering PHD?what ever the case is you should not stop going to college if you are currently on T4 until you get the outcome of your ILR application as your previous leave is continuing till you get positive response from HO.

if you need to save time and do not want to give passport to DVLA you can go to DVLA office in Wimbledon and process your application same day that way they will verify the passport and give it back to you and licence will follow by post within two weeks...

you can only apply before 28 days of your ten years if you do earlier than this they are going to refuse it straight away...so you need to have some sort of extenstion to cover 2 n half months.. it is advisable to complete ten years before you apply or at least within 28 days before but you should h...
