Does anyone know what could be going on? I tried contacting High Commision in London, but as usual they...

Visa status for the Newborn

Dear All, This question might have been answered before. But could anyone tell me how do I get the visa stamped on my new born's passport? I am an Indian National so I take that I need to apply for his Indian passport first. Once I get that, how do I apply for his FLR (assuming that he gets the same...

In addition to the form, you have to give bank statements (min 3 months), pay slips, employment contract, passports, photos, details for spou...

Having gone through the ordeal myself, I know its so difficult to open a bank account here. I mean in India, the bank will send a representative to your place, he will take your photo, take a copy of passport and you are on!! Its rediculously simple and very very customer friendly. Where as here in ...

Is it necessary to send 12 months bank statements? Most of the people take around 1-2 months to get their first uk pay slip (and as it goes, to open a bank account without that is v.tough) and they have to apply atleast 1 month in advance. So at the most, i think they can have 9 months bank statemen...

I realized that it requires great patience, belief in oneself and ofcourse necessary skill sets to survive in the market. Having gone through the initial struggle of finding a job (to get an interview itself is...

Jobs after HSMP

Was wondering whether there is any section on how to go about finding a job once we land in the UK on HSMP. There must have been many people here by now, which means this group is highly networked and the people who are already working somewhere, can probably help others by referring them etc... I a...

Hi all. My HSMP approval letter does not state anything about my spouse's status... If SBS's case is approved (10th May application), how come website is showing 7th May date. Does that mean that the earlier assumption of people (that they deliberately put a backdated update) is true?

I have applied on May 24th and money got deducted on May 25.

why no updates on processing time?

Anybody has any idea on why the processing time has not been updated after 6th of Sept? I suppose they were to come up with new measures to improve processing times by 15th Sept...any news on that front?
