Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Hi Akkylom, When I applied at Newcastle NCS, I asked the lady who took my application the same question. She said that as long as I have some at home who can receive UKBA letters in case if they need more information then it should be OK and I can travel at any time. I hope this helps. Kind regards ...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Hi djafar007,

Just managed to find that the email address is .gsi not qsi, resent it and just received an acknowledgement email stating that they should respond within 2 business day, I hope that they'll get back to me!

Once more thanks a lot.

Answer for question 1

Although you have to show all leaves on the application, the UKBA help line informed me that they don't count the annual leave in the 180 days absence criteria so you should be ok. I don't know the answer for the other two questions.

Hi uksettlement,

I get your point, actually I am the only son for my mom after my younger sister passed away in 2007. I think I can prove that. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for your reply wpilr_nov12, I have got the emails from my employer confirming this but not the emails from UKBA, I will ask them about these emails but I think it would have been done by phone! Based on the case you have kindly directed me to, it seems there is a hope so I will give it a try....
