Re: ILR TIMELINES- SET(O) SET(F) SET(M) (not Set(LR) PLS)

Got my ILR approval email today so sharing timeline below: Applied for ILR Route : Set (O) Tier-2 General Date application sent : 4 SEP 2020 Type of application : Standa...

Re: Just to double check...

Thanks CR001 - thought I was probably being crazy but then thought it worth double checking. Very much appreciated!

Just to double check...

For ILR Set (O) - my bank statements and payslip are to be within 30 days prior to my date of application (Sept 4) and not the date of my biometric appointment (this Friday)? In other words, my August bank statement and August payslip are the appropriate docs, and not any September documents? Starte...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I submitted my application on 17th July and submitted my biometrics via IDV route only on 31st August. I am still waiting. UPDATE: In-person biometrics (dual submission): 18/09/2020 (8.30am) Approval received: 18/09/2020 (10.30am) I had applied for Set (O). I needed an urgent decision and after vie...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Are people still seeing open appointments at places like Lansdowne Road? I applied on 4 Sept, and haven't received the invite email from UKCVAS saying I can go in and book an appointment (or an invite to the app). Went onto the site today to see when I might expect it, and see I should have received...

Re: Passport send off

Yep - it's incredibly frustrating that the wait that is that long and that you have to pay your way out of not having to wait (which isn't an option for many), even when it's on offer. Hopefully it reopens by then. Thanks again for your help - it's helped me get the process sorted in my head.

Re: Passport send off

Beaten but that is still really helpful Cullinan as I was also getting a bit muddled between what UKVI does and UKVCAS.

If I submit in October, it means I may not be able to travel at Christmas, but with Covid - who knows what is possible!

Re: Passport send off

Thank you so much for the quick and helpful response. I thought you uploaded stuff digitally but then I also thought I had to send in my passport. Didn't realise the point around not travelling. Thanks very much. Regarding your distinction for UKVI - my understanding is that those premium appointmen...

Passport send off

Hi all, I'm sorry for the incredibly basic question but I'm a bit confused around how the document upload works and when I actually send off my passport. I've been eligible since the start of this year, but held off on submitting when Covid hit (should have had my ducks in a row and done the super p...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi all, Given what's been said in this thread around postponed UKVCAS appointments, I was wondering if I could get views on whether to submit my application now (with no ability to book an appointment but potentially getting in the queue) or sit tight and wait? I was due to submit my application in ...

Re: Gov.uk error in online form - same day trip

Oh okay - where does it say this? Haven't seen this!

I have a few two day work trips (i.e. leave on a Monday, return on a Tuesday) so just want to make sure I'm only including the relevant trips!

Re: Gov.uk error in online form - same day trip

Ah okay - that is a huge relief. I was worried because I have the stamps in my passport it would flag up as the form asks for any period of time outside of the UK.

Gov.uk error in online form - same day trip

Hi all, I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I'm trying to upload all my travel out of the country as part of my ILR Set(O) online application form - as far as I'm aware, we can only do the online application form now. There are a couple of times that I've been out of the country and re...

ILR (Tier 2 job switch)

Hi all, I got my initial Tier 2 visa Jan 12 2015 and it would have been due to expire Feb 12 2020. In that time I switched jobs (no time off between roles so employment was continuous) and got another 5 year visa which expires in 2021. I just wanted to confirm that I can indeed apply in early 2020 b...

Thanks for your quick response- that's what I thought.

My concern was that if I don't report this role, it will look like a massive gap in my work history. I'm employed full time right now (3 months+) but without that experience listed it will look like a gap of 8 months between jobs.

Sorry didn't realize I shouldn't post questions outside this topic so I have question about my upcoming appointment.... Income from internship?

Hi all, I've got my FLR(M) appointment in a couple days and just realized that I don't have payslips from an internship I completed earlier this year. I interned from Nov. 2011-mid February 2012 (so 3.4-5 months) but was paid expenses only which amounted to about 200 quid a month. I have one payslip...

I'll try and get the bank to print off the most recent statement and stamp it as they won't officially issue a paper statement for September yet  as far as I'm aware, that's acce...

Thanks panther. I have read the guidance notes but some things are not clear and obviously he wasn't paying attention when he booked his holiday - it's just for the weekend with an old mate. Not sure what you mean about his passport....he's British so there's no way for it to notarized at an embassy...

would love to know how this worked out - it has informed me I need to print off a new application in the very least!

There was definitely some sort of typo in the past version (when asking how many rooms in the flat and then leaving no space to fill in the answer)

Hate to bump but I think I can answer all my questions above by overcompensating (bring 12 months worth of payslips, most recent bank statements, etc.) But we just realized my partner has a holiday booked the weekend following my appointment (men - do they never think of these things in advance? :ev...

A mixed bag of FLR(M) questions

Hello, I'm new here but have lurked for awhile trying to find answers to various questions along my journey! I have an in-person appointment in just under two weeks in Croydon and am finishing off the paper application and can't seem to find an answer to these questions either online, on these board...
