Q re citizenship - trips and prev applications

Hello everyone I am just rechecking my citizenship application before submitting and have 2 things I wonder if someone could clarify. 1. The first thing is the question about previous UKBA applications. I've been here 15 years and have had numerous applications ranging from student visas, post study...

Supplying documents for a severely disabled person

Hi everyone I am hoping someone knows the best way to approach this. A lot seems to have changed since we applied for my wife's first spouse visa 2.5 years ago. Last time we posted her documents, now it seems you have to present them at an appointment. My problem is my wife is severely disabled and ...

Re: Which option to select when extending spouse visa

Thanks Todmatt. Not sure if you or someone else can help me with another questions. Under the heading of "Current Partner" they ask "Is this the first time you have applied for a partner route, or an extension, with your current partner (including as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner)?" I've sai...

Re: Which option to select when extending spouse visa

Thanks for the reply Todmatt. She didn’t. She was on a tier 2 dependent visa. I then got ILR so we had to switch her to a spouse visa which was granted for 30 months. This expires in 2 weeks so we need to extend it for a further 2.5 years so she hits the 5 year mark to get ILR. If that makes sense.

Which option to select when extending spouse visa

Hi everyone It feels like an age since I completed the last application for my wife's spouse visa. I am assuming I am using the correct option going the "family route" as the forms don't seem to be labelled FLRM etc anymore. It asks during the application "Please choose the reason you are applying f...

Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

After over a week of trying the failing online booking system, I managed to get a last minute appointment in Belfast for yesterday. I'll put more on this in the additional comments below. 1. Category. SET (LR) 2. Number of dependents. 0 3. Total cost. £2999.00... plus flights...plus accommodation......

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Hi, I'm just finalising my application for my PSC appointment and have some questions. 1. on page 31 I am listing the documents I am including. I have my current passport and a previous (now expired) passport which has my first visa in it. Do I list this as sending 1 passport and 1 previous travel d...

Re: Taking my personal items to a PSC appointment

Ok, this is going to sound weird, but I'm not sure where else to post it  . I have got an appointment at the PSC in Belfast. I have never been to Belfast so thought I would use the opportunity to see the sights at the same time. My concern is that I want to take my camera (it's not a compact ...

You go through airport style security checks when entering a centre. Mobile phones are allowed.

Maybe ask hotel if they do luggage store and pick your stuff up when done.
Thanks CR001. I'm not sure if the place I am staying are keen on that, but good idea to check.

Re: Premium Service Centre Booking Problems!

Just keep trying. I know it is demoralising (and somewhat disgusting given what they charge), but keep searching different centre. Also try between 10am and 11am. I got mine at 10:45am after trying for 7 nights in a row at midnight. I got one last Friday for next week so appointments do open up (esp...

Re: Premium Service Centre Booking Problems!

Frustrating is an understatement. To answer your question, refreshing the page is probably a bad description. Basically you just keep going back and changing the centre and then click next. If you get the same lack of bookings notice, go back and change the centre and try again. Keep doing that agai...

Re: Premium Service Centre Booking Problems!

Hi starfashion. I hate to admit it, but I think I'm the one who got the appointment before you. Sorry buddy. I logged on around 10:15 and there was 1 appointment in Belfast. But it was gone before I could book it. Then I tried again about 10 times in the next 30 mins and suddenly one popped up aroun...

Re: Premium Service Centre Booking Problems!

Their booking system is crap. It's just a poor second rate service. I am also applying for ILR. Interesting to see that they were quick to set up a new and simple system for EU citizens living in the UK that costs only £65 and which they can do on their phones! Double standards if you ask me. I too ...

Re: SET (LR) - Employer Approached

Finding the process quite slow at the moment - application posted 15.06., received the next day. Money taken out a couple of days later. Received an e-mail from HO confirming receipt and quoting the usual ‘up to 6 month turnaround’. Also, last week my employer has asked me for concern to share info...

Re: ILR (LR) and FLR (M) Questions,

Also, have you booked your premium appointment? I understand there is a long waiting list for this too. I've been told 4-6 weeks....kind of defeats the purpose of priority!

Re: ILR (LR) and FLR (M) Questions,

Hi starfashion. I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I'd like to know how it goes. I can only apply in July because of a long waiting list for the Life in the UK test. I was going to apply by post and request they hold back my wife's application, but not sure how you complete the FLR(M) as there is ...
