Re: NARIC & English-language National on the online form?

OK, thank you. I know I am exempt, but it's forcing me to lie and say I do have a NARIC letter when I know I am not required to show one. I will declare it but not bring one with me to my appointment.

It doesn't let me proceed if I don't tick that box. Has anyone else had some success doing that?

NARIC & English-language National on the online form?

Hi, I am very happily now applying for my naturalisation using the online form. However when I specify that I am an US citizen it still forces me to fill out information about my English language degree, etc. At the end it wants me to declare that I have access to a NARIC letter for my English langu...

Hi all, wanted to update to inform you that I have been APPROVED for ILR. Very relieved. It seems they accepted my 120 hours / month argument according to the past guidance. Hi
I received today £200 the refund of the Health Surcharge. Did not receive the AR decision yet but will update you when I receive it.
Thank you HMG. Is a refund generally a good sign? What does it mean?

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur refusal - Job creation matter

FOI requests are not for you to inquiry about the immigration rules. Rules are clear as we repeated hundreds of times, 104 weeks of full time employment (which is defined as 30 hours per week) :!: If you do NOT have 104 weeks of full time employment, you do not get the points. I am waiting and will...

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur refusal - Job creation matter

I think this 'Letter D' thing is just an 'additional' stuff from where I see it (from visa application perspective atleast). I might be completely wrong and this could be a really important thing to a CW to determine if an employee is full-time or part-time. Not sure! My accountant explained to me ...

Re: ILR Job Creation Calculations

My solicitor has advised me to wait 2 more weeks to generate 1 more month's employment and then go ahead on the basis of the 120 rule in the guidance, stating I risk rejection but if it's in the guidance than they can't not accept us after arguing for it......... I really do not want to wait more mo...

Re: ILR Job Creation Calculations

You do NOT have to prove anything. Just calculate the number of weeks worked, supply the payslips for that period and you should be fine What counts as 'weeks worked'? If I consistently had 3-4 people doing 28 hours a week do they then only count as part time? Or can they all be added up together t...

Re: ILR Job Creation Calculations

Forget the monthly hours worked. A full time job is legally a job that is min 30 hours a week. All your employees MUST have worked 30 or more hours per WEEK to be considered full time. Hours worked per month are not relevant. Hi Zimba, I understand what you're saying but there's no way for them to ...

Re: ILR Job Creation Calculations

Why dont you present just the 13 months of emlpoyment of two settled workers as you have indicated here It doesn't seem to work that way because my employees worked less than 130 hours a month a lot. This means that with the extra part time person it adds up to the correct amount but without them i...

Re: ILR Job Creation Calculations

Unfortunately this is not correct. As mentioned, you cannot total hours across jobs. For example 330+ is definitely not one employee. So, how many jobs it is is going to be dependant on how many employees make it up. For an extreme, if it just one employee, then you have only 1 job. But, if it is 3...

Irrespective of how your payslip is, how do you determine the hours ? Are all your employees on minimum wage ?
They're all paid hourly and are above minimum wage (£9-12).

For now, list the weeks and the hours worked on each week. Take a maximum of 30 hrs each week. And if you get to 104 x 30 (3120), you are ok. ILR Job Creation Calculations

I was just about to submit my application this week when my solicitor informed me I hadn't generated employment in the correct way. It'd be great if I could get some input here. I've created over 4000 hours of employment through a mix of two 30/hour per week employees and two 15/hour week employees....

Unrestrictd COS Allocation increase & visa expiry

I have offered a Tier 4 a job at my company so we need to get them switched to a Tier 2. I've requested an increase in COS allocation on the Home Office sponsorship page (1 week ago) and their visa expires in less than a week. I called up yesterday and was told they can't give us any advice on statu...

SET(O) (Tier 1 Ent Ex to ILR)?

I've found out I need to leave the UK in early August and I'm set to apply for ILR by mid February. That leaves me less than 6 months to get a decision on ILR. Does anyone here know if this is reasonable? I am applying from Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension. Is there ANYTHING I can do to speed up the de...
