Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

I can't find a FAQ here, but how can I apply the postal route for a passport without waiting for them to post a form to me? Is there a form on the web i can just print and post myself?
Thanks!

Switching PEO appointment from SET(O) to SET(M)

My friend booked the wrong kind of appointment, SET(O) instead of SET(M). Has anyone had experience? Rebooking not a good option now given the tight timeline. I can't recall them ever really checking which appointment I had when I went...

supposedly they could say you breached the terms of your earlier visa by not being in employment. so you should try and show some form of economic activity in that period if possible.

And BRP came today despite hassles with DX. Apparently was ready to be delivered last Wednesday but I had to email to get tracking and DX didn't leave a card. Idiots!

New Google Docs spreadsheet template for days out of country

I put this together for my own application, so I thought I'd share it with the rest of the forum. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlTLKBqG2zBSdHdoSWNZRG1nWVJ3RmI1N0hTQXd0ZGc Please click File -> Make a Copy before you edit! ILR Success, Croydon 8 Oct 2012 / 480 days out,self-employed

Alhamdulillah, after a few months of stress, I got my ILR granted at the Croydon office this week. 480 days out of the UK total, 160 for personal, 220 for work. Longest consecutive trip was 25 days holiday. I was employed 2.5 of the 5 years at two different firms. The latter 2.5 years I was self-emp...
