When i fill the ILR application do i have to declare as my wife is claiming student council tax exemption? Council will never give anything for free. I agree with z18runway. You are entitled for a full council tax exemption. I am in the same situation as yours. I know this is a very late reply, but came across this when planning to do a new post on this issue. 'either or' should be treated as 'either or' and the 'NOT' makes zero difference.
