@hatchsead ,..i think withholding pples passport after refusin them is soo unfair and dat is how they lose pples paspt.....havin said that, they would still require yr passport otherwise applicatn gets delayed... the passport is the document you can use to prove who you are to the ho b4 they can iss...

@rina welcome to d forum.... yr waiting since feb last year is not unsual.....havin said dat it still a long time to wait...i would suggest you involve yr mp , then escalate to d ombudsman level....God bless
@11akb ... as verbina rightly said , you need to contact the ombudsman , it will not go against you my dear, it will rather help in fishing out yr application where ever they dumped it and start processing it.....good luck dear
