This is one of the reason why you shouldn't come here. you are paid decent in India, though you have to work hard. But you don't have to experience this sh1t. Go on man! enjoy your life there. There are tons of Indians heading back home. Find their reasoning why are they doing it. Don't go to a plac...

Study on HSMP

Dear all,

Is possible to study when one is on HSMP? I mean, how does the ILR extension work out? Or one needs to change the visa status to student visa? what happens to the spouse work in that case, as dependents are not suppose to earn more than on which they are dependent.

Please help.

Pay fraction less than asked

Hello guys,

One of my friend is getting 39K per annum. He is 28+. If he applies for HSMP, would HO consider the application? or pay has to be above 40K?

Of course, without pay consideration he won't qualify.

Please help

THanks john,

The document is very helpful. Although, a doubt still remains, after I enrol for education after ILR, how long will I have to wait for citigenship.

In normal case, if I continue working, I can apply for it after a yr.

Study after ILR

guys,

what happens if a person studies (in UK only) after ILR? Does her time frame for citizenship changes? Or PR/ILR status itself changes.

Considering the person has got HSMP earlier.

THX,

Would I be allowed to apply for ILR or need to...

I agree with Rog,

At the end of the day, you know more money here but again ALMOST everything that you can from this money could be provided by gov. and more over you get to stay near your family and friends....

Think about what you gonna lose also.....

A house in london with 5 bedrooms in a decent location (not even posh) should cost you £1500 - £1800 per month. But depending upon work exp and the nature of job. The salaries are good in london. I think it would little safe if you convert $ figures in US to £ in UK without changing the figure. To a...
