absence days and remote working during the last year

Hi, I on ILR now, and have read that I need to be in country for 90 days (can be 100) during my last year before applying for naturalisation. I am wondering if this is still valid given that my work assumes travelling abroad - can I stay outside longer given the employer can confirm that my trips ar...

Re: 60 days vs. curtailment letter dates

the first ever t2 brp was received on the 25th june 2013. after the gap I got the brp on the 6th June 2014. Does that look good? Thanks again for helping out! The maximum time you can stay on T2 is until 25th June 2019. Your clock reset on 6th June 2014 so basically you are eligible to apply ILR wi...

Re: 60 days vs. curtailment letter dates

1. Is the garden leave considered to be as proper employment, not going to 60 days? Only the last day of your employment matters. CHECK YOUR P45 :!: :!: 2. can I extend my existing tier 2 visa for another 7 months to make it 6 years total? You should be able to Can't see it saying any dates in my f...

Re: 60 days vs. curtailment letter dates

Thanks a lot. I may need to wait for another year to apply then - it was a while ago so I will be OK if I apply in 2016 (after I am 6 years total and 5 years after the incident above). Two follow up questions regarding the other breaks: 1. Is the garden leave considered to be as proper employment, ...

Re: 60 days vs. curtailment letter dates

Ok thank you for your answers. I am in trouble then.
How do I know what the last day was? It does not say in the letter. How likely is that that the employer reported the date to be 7th April?
From my memory, I was working for the whole March, not until the 7th.

Re: 60 days vs. curtailment letter dates

That's unexpected.. Thanks for your reply though.
How about AR - will that help?
or is there anything I can do to attach to the application to support the application?

60 days vs. curtailment letter dates

Hi, I am planning to apply for ILR shortly and checking my documents. I was employed as a Tier 2 and then had a gap changing to another Tier 2 with another employer. I am a bit confused with the dates on how to calculate the 60 days in my case. On the 7 April I received (dated 7 April) a Curtailment...

Re: Driving License revoked

I don't think I have any of the above. I got a FPN by letter and there was no anything about a court. They only pot 6 points, and sent it to DVLA and _THEN_ it was DVLA to keep my license because I am driving for less than 2 years. Then it should be fine. FPN don't lead to ILR refusals I am concern...

Driving License revoked

Hi,

My driving license was revoked because I received 6 points and was driving for less than 2 years. I paid Penalty of 200 and there was no court.
Can it be considered as Disqualification (which may lead to ILR refusal) or it this separate and I am fine to apply for ILR?

Thank!

Re: Tier 2 ILR Application - 60 days unemployed period

Hi Mengo, Sorry to hear about your decision. I am also in a similar situation and my current Tier 2 is expiring in Sept 17. I was thinking of applying for ILR before the expiry but not sure whether it will be accepted given that the gap is 87 days. Could you please let me know what happened with yo...

cos salary not paid

Hi,
What if the salary stated in CoS will not be paid and the actual salary will still be lower than the employer says on the CoS and I put on my application - will there be some way to check or is there any fee for that?

UKBA keeping documents

Hi all, I was refused a visa because of 37.5 vs. 40 hours issue. After this I haven't received my documents back yet. I am on the stage of appeal because my employer made a typing error while issuing CoS, but now all is ready for re-application. My visa expired October 2012 (I applied on time), I am...

Hi
I cannot see 2132 Analyst in the list.
Anyway, you will have to re-calculate your minimum salary because UKBA are using 37.5 hours a week. if you work 38 hours, your salary should be slightly more.

1. you can post the application any time up to and including the date of expiry of your visa, so if the degree cert. will be available on 1 Feb there shouldn't be a problem. 2. while the application is being processed your present Tier 4 visa status continues, i.e. you can only work the hours permi...

If you download volume 2 of the document from the site below and search by the SOC CODE (2132) you should be able to find it. http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/guide-method/classifications/archived-standard-classifications/standard-occupational-classification-2000/dissemination-media-and-availability/index...

then you need to choose another Code - just have a look at the link above. Alternatively, you can ask for a pay rise.
Make sure that even £21600 is salary for 37.5 hours week.

Overstayer or not?

Hi, My student visa expired on 29 October. I applied for Tier 2 on the 26 October - on time. Now I got my refusal a week ago (with right to appeal) and want to re-apply again as I know I have 28 days. The question is - what shall I put into my online application form under "What is your current immi...
