Thank you Sujan for sharing that information. Just gives clarity on requirement of SU07. So, the first reason that you and I were refused is incorrect. I was refused also for not including employment contract - which was included. The ECM must overturn the decision then... what are they waiting for?...

Franco the ECM in Chennai India said it was mandatory for Spouse Settlement Visa application. I do believe that Su07/12 was required only for elderly dependents but ECM in Chennai thinks otherwise. ban.s - I have posted the full text of refusal and the response from ECM. Lucapoka is absolutely right. Your appeal will fail as you will be submitting evidence that is new and was not available at the time of making the decision.

Did you include any documents to show proof of contact between you? These can include letters, cards, phone bills, emails, Skype records or Facebook timeline or messages.
These come handy when they balance the probabilities in deciding that you are in a genuine and subsisting marriage.

SU07/12 form is mandatory for spouse visa application according to ECO in Chennai.

I was refused for not submitting SU07/12 form for my wife with no dependents.

I had a sponsor stuatory declaration (affidavit) done with the application!

I did the online form for the appeal.

I am talking about the VAF4a and appendix 2 for a new application. I cant stand this waiting with the appeals... (6 to 10 months)!!! I appealed just in case I got refused again!

Hi riversidecreations, have you received any reply from the ECM for your e-mail? They said they will reply within 20 days? I am in the same situation as you are. I have appealed and I am thinking about putting a new application as well.

I mean submitting another new application than appealing. Since I did not provide the SU07 and contract of employment, the refusal is valid and correct. Would an ECM overturn the decision if I supply these documents in appeal?
