I reduced the accounting period to match the CT600 date so that accounts and CT600 are for the period. This solved my problem.

10 Years long residency query

Hi, My wife completed her 10years long residency period in June 2011 but she did not apply for ILR at that time. She had to leave UK in June 2012 and she returned in June 2013, just short of two weeks from full 1 year. She left UK on valid visa and returned on valid visa. I want to ask that when she...

Self Employed query

I am a contractor and trade through a Limited Company. My company was registered years ago but I only started withdrawing salary from July last year. The turn over was minimal (around £300/year) before I actively using it. My Tax year is Feb/2012 to Feb/2013 and I was in full time employment with an...

DESPERATE - PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, My accounting period is for 16months as I changed my accounts end date to match ct600 date so I will have to submit 2 CT600 to HMRC as ct600 cannot be longer than 12 months. One CT600 will be for first 12 months and second will be for remaining 4 months. Now my questions is that which ct600 home...

Director for Limited Company

This company was registered few years ago but we only started using it 6 months ago so the last tax return and annual accounts only show the turnover of few hundred pounds. We both get a salary and dividends. My wife had...

Hi, I am not the expert but I am in a similar situation as you. If you are really worried about PAYE then I will suggest you to pay PAYE for the months you have been drawing salary. You can pay PAYE quarterly but you have to request HMRC for this otherwise it will be considered overdue. I am a direc...

No she cannot come on her current visa as that was granted when i was on Tier 1. As i switched to indefinite leave to remain so she had to file flr(m) before leaving uk.

If she try to return then it is on the discretion of immigration control to grant her entry or not but we dont want to take risk.

We will not mention this in the application.

We will simply state that she is coming over for 2 weeks and will return after that?

We have 2 children who are British national so they will be coming with her as well.

What do you think?

Applying for ILR while on visit visa

Hi, My wife was dependent on me on Tier 1 visa but when I got ILR I did not apply for her FLR(M) thinking that we will apply for her ILR on 10 years basis. She had also completed her 10 years of continuous leave from September 2001 - September 2011. She had to leave country due to some family emerge...
