Please can anyone advise as my child was born in india in Aug and we applied for his British passport which we have now received.
To avoid any issues at the airport do we need to get him indian visa before we can travel back to UK?

I just have got one more query. Does anyone know if we have to now apply for the Indian visa for the baby as he is still in india and now got a passport. After we applied with the documents the passport office asked for progressive pregnancy photographs. They also contacted the hospital for verification and interviewed my wife as well ...

Also, does any one know if we need to take the baby to the vfs passport centre for applying as well. Or can the parents apply on infant's behalf.
