Re: Form An submitted - missed adding one detail on employment

Thanks, I do hope they send a query as well if they have one as it will straight forward to explain that this was inadvertently missed mentioning as it was so short term. What worries me slightly is if they reject the application on the basis of being incomplete - I do hope that this will not be the...

Form An submitted - missed adding one detail on employment

Hi, can someone please advice? My spouse and I have recently applied for citizenship through NCS. My spouse who is self employed has just realised that one detail regarding an employment (temporary contract) work which ended up being very short and had only lasted for one week was inadvertently miss...

Visitor visa documents

Hi, My wife would like to invite her parents to the UK for about 2-3 weeks and I am ready to sponsor their trip. Both of us have ILRs. They are residing in India and will be applying for a visit visa from New Delhi on the 11th of May. However, I am not sure whether I need to send original supporting...

Child passport application- countersignature refused

I had applied for my child's passport last week and have just received a letter saying that they were unable to trace the countersignature person. The countersignatury person is my colleague and I am finding it very hard to believe. He had given our office address as required on the declaration form...

PEO appointments availibility

Hi, has anyone managed to get any ilr appointments in Feb so far? I haven't been able to find any at any location which is a bit strange as I can see appointment slots available in Jan. I have tried to search at midnight as well for the 42nd date, but no luck so far. Has there been any change in the...

Has anyone got any updates with their extension application recently? I had applied by post on 2nd April, payment taken on 9th April, Biometric letter received on 20th, Biometrics submitted on 21st. Still awaiting return of passport and approval. UK visas seem to be taking a long time for processin...

This is a bit outdated; but perhaps it sheds a bit of light https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/economic_activity_for_ilr#incoming-53958 Thanks Hellonewhere, that was a very interesting read and I wasn't aware of this. Re: Tier 1 (General) extension application processing timeli

Thanks for the update. Will update as soon as I hear anything. It will also be interesting to hear from someone who has just got an approval and when they applied. We would get some indication how far behind we are. This timeline post seems to have gone dead otherwise as last approval was more than ...

Thanks O_Relly for your reply. I will send my application by special delivery this Saturday. Hope that is okay, if the forms reaches UKVI on 7th Apr as Monday is a bank holiday? Re: Worried because of last week of extension

Thanks, I wouldn't normally worry. But there is so much on the line. Also would it matter as I plan to only extend for myself and not my wife and kid? Should I mention anything in an application letter as I plan to apply by post and things shouldn't look odd when I apply for ilr for everyone? Any su...

Worried because of last week of extension

I am considering to extend just because this being the last week to extend. I am due to apply for ilr almost a year later and have visa expiry date till that date, but am still worried. Have people also done extensions just for peace of mind?

E-Petition to reform new UKBA

TNT Magazine have launched an e-petition on the HM Government website to carry out major reforms and improve on the shambolic service which UKBA provides for visa services. Their proposal makes a lot of sense and TNT wants the UKBA to change the way UKBA (or the new organization soon to be created) ...

T1 Extension documents requirement

I have my T1 extension appointment coming up soon at Croydon. I was under the impression so far that only original documents have to be submitted but after reading some of the posts in the PEO experience topic, I am a bit confused. Some of the authors have mentioned that they also had to submit phot...
