@ntuleimat, whoever "told" this has provided incorrect information
Thanks for the reply. Is there any confirmation about the start of the 6 moths period at Gov.uk? This will be useful to use to challenge anyone making such comments from UKVCAS.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Dear All, A friend of mine applied for ILR Set (M) and she submitted her biometrics today in person. She was told to start counting the 6 months period from today and not from the date she submitted and paid the fees. This is contrast to the known rule of the period starting from the date of applica...

You will get a full refund. Refund may take longer in corona. You must book an appointment and attend at UKVCAS now. IDV is the past.
Hi,

What do you mean by the comment "IDV is the past"? What happens to the applicants who submitted through IDV in Aug/Sep?
Thanks,

Hi all,

Was wondering if there has been any recent stats of approvals for SET(M) applicants who applied in September?

Thanks.
It looks that processing SET (M) applications is in chaos and no one knows what's going on.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi Guys, Hope everyone is doing well. I have a bit of confusion for Set(M). I had heard that you can now submit your picture and fingerprints via phone but seems to me that is incorrect and we still need to go to UKVCAS center for picture and biometric. Which one is correct? Thanks, Ray We submitte...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, Our application is set (M) submitted on 17th of August with biometrics submitted via IDV on 7th of September. I logged to the application now to find that in the Further Actions tab they are asking to book an appointment to provide biometrics and supporting documents by 17 October. Does it mean ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone, I applied for my ILR Set M on 20th August, sent biometrics on 5th September (IDV App). I thought I had a very straightforward case, as in no dependants, both employed, applying in Cat D with cash savings... But still nothing! I've never received any communication either. Just thought I...

Spouse Visa Renewal Language Test Requirments

Hi, For my wife's initial spouse visa application, we submitted IELTS General certificate with a score of 6.5. For the renewal, do we need to provide a new IELTS certificate with similar or higher score? Or is it sufficient to provide any A2 level test like IELTS Life Skills A2 level? Thanks for you...

Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Hi Guys,

I am filling my passport application and not sure if I need to include details about my grandparents. Both my parents and all my grandparents are not British nationals and all were born outside the UK. Do I still need to include my grandparents details in this case?

Thanks,

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Hi, I have applied for citizenship on the 26th of June and did my biometrics on the 10th of July. Like many others, I haven't heard anything since then. There has been changes in my job that require me to travel a lot for business and having the British passport became an urgent requirement. Do you ...

How long is processing time for Naturalisation after 6th April 2015? I note there has been major delays after they started requiring bio-metrics. Could you please advise?

Settlement for Tier 1 (General) dependent - 1 year in the UK

Hi, I work in the UK under Tier 1 (General) visa and will apply for settlement in July 2014. I am planning to bring my wife to the UK around 1 year before I apply to settlement. When I apply for settlement, does my wife get the settlement with me too given that she lived with me in the UK for a year...
