Hey it is not mandatory to submit notarized copy, i just did it to be on the safe side ... the covering letter just lists all the documents you are submitting, so it makes it easier for the ECO to use that as a checklist ... I submitted all originals and one set photocopy too ... No, you don't need ...

Re: Urgent | Naturalisation Questions after ILR for 1 year

Firstly, the documents you need for naturalisation are all passports held, Life in the UK pass certificate, completed form (dec 2012 version) and fee slip .. that's it ... secondly, i would say provide the information which is factual and correct ... if the passport names the town, write down the na...

Please refer to section 4.1 4.2 and 4.3 of the link below ... although points do not apply for spouse visas, the points based calculator is what case workers will look to determine if the qualification is NARIC recognised. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/IDIs/chp...

Re: IT CONTRACTOR

First, lets detach the two components of this tax arrangement I call the Ken Livingstone arrangement (perfectly legal but not HMRC friendly!). A) Company - which submits CT600, can register for VAT which is optional (but mandatory if you exceed 77K turnover) and can register for PAYE which is option...

You need to meet the requirements at the time of submitting an application. Having said that, in some instances, they ask for more information regarding certain aspects of the application. In your case, if this relates to employment, it might be difficult to explain. You say 24 payslips, I am not su...

Re: INVITING MOTHER TO UK - (Family Visitor)

From memory. there are 2 forms VFS A or B, please go through this and selecting the right version will answer your query. You could put your home address and later stay in the hotel ... It will be hard to explain this staying arrangement on an application form, if you are sponsoring. If you are an I...

- Regarding your first query, I would say full copy of passport should be submitted and this should preferably be a notarized copy. there have been few cases of rejection where this was not submitted. - On second query, Yes, more so in your case. I have heard of only one case where it took approx. 5 months from start to finish. I think they want ppl to submit a fresh application. If you are self-employed filling out SA100 return, then in theory you cannot work for one employer only (unless you are IR35 compliant). You can check with your accountant if he has looked into this and you should be fine! I really doubt if the UKBA in India are going to get into this level of detai...
