Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

I had submitted my application on 17th May 2014 via Post Office check & send service and til date I haven't received any text. Is this normal? Should I contact the office and check if they have received the documents and are being looked into?

tom.tom, I too have applied in a similar way via NCS. I did see many posts in the forum where people have successfully completed naturalisation process by giving pbs print out and original degree certificate.

Re: Letter from Home Office - Urgent Help / Advice..

Does the point based calculator give you minimum 20 points for education and 10 points for English requirement? If yes, I don't see any reason why home office is asking for you to get it certified from NARIC.

NCS Appointment

Hi,

Please can someone answer my query regarding NCS appointment?

I got my ILR on 21st March 2013. Can I book an appointment with NCS on 21st March 2014 and submit the application (exactly the same day after one year)? OR do I need to wait for 24th March 2014 (next working day)?

Thanks,

Hi Vinny,

My wife would be applying for ILR using the SET(O) form in the coming month. Couple of questions:

1) I believe we don't need to complete section 9 in the form?
2) Do we both need to show 6 month bank statements along with cohabitation documents? please can you advise?

Thanks

@sbadra - You mentioned there is a gap in your Visa?
2. No visa continuation within 5 years period (Gap between Work Permit and fresh Tier 2 ICT received on 06th August 2010)
In that case your continuous period is broken.
