You need to submit the original and photocopy with the application. UKBA need to see that your partner is clear of TB. If you don't submit the certificate your application will be refused.

If and when the visa is granted then your partner will also need to carry it to the UK when they travel here.

To put people's mind at rest, the language requirement only requires that you pass the speaking and listening part of the test. The other parts you can totally ignore and it would not matter. I would advise that if your partners have basic levels of English then the IELTS test would not be ideal for...

Your very lucky to get the visa so quickly.

Dont understand why it takes them so long for some applications and quickly for others.

Keep me in your thoughts and hopefully my wife will get her visa soon.

Will try and email first and then call them next week, if they take my call.

Not sure how the BHC is in Delhi but reading this forum it seems that they are not that friendly!!!! Mumbai BHC seems a lot better.

Does anybody know if BHC in Delhi can be contacted by phone with regards to Settlement Visa applications? and if so what is their number?

I just need to know if my wife's application is under process as VFS are unable to tell me anything!!!
