Learning German wouldn't probably help because the Dutch language may be similar but is very different. The Dutch also tend to be quite against the Germans...so you might want to look into learning Dutch if you want to live and work in The Netherlands.

Dutch Citizenship

Hi! I'm currently a student living in Canada. Born and raised Canadian too. However I am of Dutch heritage and my goal is to move back to The Netherlands and become a teacher there. If I am correct Dutch citizens automatically have a work permit right? So how can I go about getting Dutch citizenship...
