Re: Non EU family member PR application

Exactly that. Only once I was asked about my RC. They immigration officer asked if it was in my old passport. I said yes and then gave it back to him. He looked at it, scanned it and gave both passports back to me. On the other occasions i decided i’d only give them my old passport if asked. No one ...

Lady started arguing and I told her she didn’t know the law. When arrived to the UK, I was told not to queue in No...

Re: Traveling in Europe in April 2019

Transition period ends in 2021, so I am assuming we're all fine until then. However, I do believe that it all depends on immigration officer's mood.

The criteria for PR under EU rules are that you have been in the UK for five years as the dependant partner of an EU national who has been exercising unbroken treaty rights or has, himself, acquired PR. Nothing in your post sufficiently indicates you might qualify in these circumstances. Does this ...

That's incredible. Congratulations. If I may ask, since you requested your passports back, did you end up getting your RC on an A4 paper? Also, did you bug them initially for a COA as well, or just later on using the reference number stated on the COA to get your passports back? I received my RC st...

Does everyone have one or do they just want you to write your nationality? HO reference number was written on my CoA,...

I was student myself and the requirement was to attend lessons. UKBA asks for a letter from college/uni confirming your hours and progress.

I think that application proccessing times depend pretty much on the case worker, ot how much paperwork you send to support the application. If you send all documents requested, the case should be pretty much straight forward. Perhaps if the caseworkers were paid commission plus thei wages, they'd b...

I think you've answered your own question.... the thing is, once we have landed I do not want to show them my visa. I only want to show them my CoA. My visa is in my old passport. Reason for this is that last time I traveled on my own they put me in 20 min detention for such a stupid reason. They a...

If you can get to the border, you will be admitted with the CoA. The difficult part would be getting there. Boarding a flight without a proper visa (as you are a visa national) would be difficult. Taking the train/ferry should be possible. So if one lands at UK airport only with CoA, and EEA2 in pr...
