Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

The appointment was on Saturday and they did not mention that they can check the date when I have aquired PR status. I didn't even know they can do that at the appointment, so I didn't even ask the question. I have provided all documentation covering the 6 years, but after arriving from the appoint...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Just list work - that's all history question asks for. Yes include docs to show tax/NI obligations mwt. If passports weren't stamped include proof of residence. No need to wait for hubby - you can do this. But if hubby relies on you to acquire his PR then hold off until he has his PR in the bag. Th...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

This is not an action replay of a PR application. It is not necessary to prove you were working. It is not necessary to justify unemployment. Economic activity is not mandatory when naturalising. If you did work you just have to submit proof of meeting tax/NI obligations. Aside from that you still ...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

A lot of the information the form asks for is not required for actually obtaining residence documentation. UKVI just add extra questions as it helps to build up a bigger profile of you. The government loves to know everything. Have a look at one of the old forms from years ago and you'll see how di...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Oh, I had no idea about it. On the other hand, it's a common thinking you can't get a PR status, if you claim benefits, so I'm not sure whether it's respected. But I'll not worry too much how to fill this section properly, if it's not mandatory. Thank you Edit: "Note: you do not have to complete thi...

What you do in the 6th year is not relevant. Either put your husband activities or your activities. It doesn't really matter. The reason they ask for 6 years is to try to simplify the question but basically you need to prove 5 years which will end at least one year before applying (as you need to h...

Jambo, thank you for your very clear reply! I wish CS Register Office could be as helpful. Yes, we both want to apply at the same time. My last question, I hope, is: what about the last 6th year (they ask for stating your activities for the last 6 years). Is it alright not to mention I worked that t...
