Re: Urgent Query - Tier1 General extn

Color prints from the bank should be fine, u dont need to stamp them as they are not printed online by you.

Also you have to provide 2 evidence for earnings which you are already doing by submitting bank stmnts and salary slips

Re: Passport expiry and Tier 1 renewal.

I had a similar situation, I however renewed my passport in December 2014 to avoid any problems.

You can call the UK Visas office at 0300 123 2241 to confirm whether u need to renew ur passport or not.

Re: 4 years 11 months

Thanks for the reply. I had applied for Tier 1 from UK only but the duration of my Tier 1 visa including extension is 4 years 11 months and NOT 5 years.

So can I apply for ILR in this case as i wont be completing 5 continuous years ?

4 years 11 months

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 (General) visa with following dates:

1. 16 April 2010 - 16 April 2013
2. 13 March 2013 - 13 March 2015

Am I eligible to apply for ILR on 10 March 2015 ? as this would be only 4 years 11 months.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Rajesh

Hi Trups,

If you look at this link it says 80% of the applications are done in 15 working days, so you will probably get it next week

Tier 1 (general) Dependant English Language

I am applying for my Wife's visa in March 2013 under Tier 1 (general) Dependent who is currently based in India. I didn't find any answer on the UKBA website indicating whether my wife/spouse needs to satisfy the English language requirement.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Raj

I have booked an appointment and got a confirmation email from UKBA as well BUT can't see it in my account when I login to the website. Should i call the home office to confirm my booking or is it fine ?
