Re: UK scraps all landing cards for international travellers

And now the stress will likely be even more on residence (actually staying in the country for a while and leaving a trace with government documentation such as by working/taxes and/or applying for benefits) as opposed to mere presence (flying in and out, and possibly behaving like a visitor). The p...

Does a longer waiting period mean you're likely to be rejected- Schengen

I've been granted a Schengen visa several times before. Usually it was pretty quick and once took a little longer. This time though it's taking forever. I applied for Netherlands this time. They are sent to Netherlands for processing and not processed in the London consulate. People applying after m...

Re: Applied ILR in Jan 2018

What is the breakdown in terms of months for the roles that you have used? Hopefully you'll hear back before April 2019, but do you think you could employ settled people in a couple of roles for which you already employed people previously? The roles have to be 12 months but not necessarily continuo...

Sorry to hear about this.
You could try AR before going for another application.

Very sad to hear about this.

If you list out your refusal reasons here, members might be able to help regarding points that you could make for your AR.

I hope you are going for AR, and refer to the transcript that confirms that tenancy was never discussed.
It's bizarre that they just copied the same letter here again, except the above point.

Faheem your point is absolutely right. They can't talk about something they have not made you aware off. This is nitpicking. After ar go for pap followed by jr if pap is ignored by them. You have a case and they won't stand . They r very funny. Thank you Vish. Yes I will exercise all available opti...

Re: BRP card never received - chasing down

it's so strange all the stories I've read about DX. you'd think after so many BRPs and passports are delayed or missing because of them they'd find a more reliable service? or have them sent to a post office and have you pick it up with ID instead? now if I have to pay to get another card sent, wha...

Re: How to prove to University I have ILR without BRP

yes thanks sonata I see now that it does say on the 3rd page "your application for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK has been approved". I overlooked that as it seemed like just pages of advice/faq type stuff. That helps clarify it at least. Although it doesn't help that above that it says "thes...

Re: BRP card never received - chasing down

My brother's BRP was delayed and arrived after 12 days, and the person from DX just put it through the mailbox. Didn't ring or ask for any signature or ID.

Just an update- my brother's BRP finally arrived after 12 days.
Not sure what caused the delay but the issue date is the same as the approval letter, so it's fine.

Re: BRP card never received - chasing down

Filling the online form is the only option, I think.
You could also try writing to the caseworker, although I'm unsure if they'd do anything in this case other than asking you to apply for another card if it's showing up as delivered.

Hi,
The start date for myinitial visa was 03/09/2014.
If you meet the employment requirements (which will be counted from the date your extension was granted), you could apply 28 days before qualifying for the 5 year ILR route (upto 28 days before 03/09/2019).
