Referees for children

Hello, applying for naturalization as UK citizen for my children. As you know, one of the referees needs to be someone who knows them in a professional capacity e.g. teacher, etc. I am having difficulty with the fact that teachers are happy to sign the reference form but not comfortable sharing thei...

Re: New residence permit for British Citizen dependants with Indian passport

Thanks. This is helpful.

While on the topic - do you know if my dependants can travel to the Schengen area without a Schengen visa when they are travelling with me? I ask because somebody in a similar situation told me this is possible.

Re: ILR online application

Message says that the service is no longer available. Seems like we are back to paper based forms? Does anybody know if the online service will be available again soon?

Re: New online Application Form

Could not find online application form on the gov.uk site. The only link seems to be to the PDF form which needs to be downloaded, printed and filled up.

Can somebody post a link to the online form or tell me how to reach it please?

Hi all, I am due to convert my Tier 2 General permit to ILR in 5 year route. Had a question about mentioning all absences where I have been outside UK in the employer letter. Re: Dependent ILR query

Thanks. So the question is, what visa should we apply for them? ILR dependent (not their own ILR)?

Right now they are dependent on my Tier 2 (General), if my Tier 2 General changes to an ILR, they need to get onto a new visa, right?

I am applying for ILR under the 5 years in Tier 2 General route.

Re: ILR - Employment Letter

In addition, as per Section 6.3 of Set (O) form the following seems to be required? What evidence has been provided to support the reasons for all absences from the UK? Re: ILR (5 years) - When I can apply

Thanks both. Yes aware of the information shared. The official website says if you apply more than 28 days in advance your application may be rejected. I was curious to see if anyone has had experience of applying earlier based on humanitarian grounds and got an approval.
