She send her B1 when we both applied through SET O form ( I think hers was SET M) however, when the route did get changed to partner route, we did not have to make other applic...

NARIC is good
Yes but the degree was not taught in English and therefore, I don't think have just a statement of comparability from NARIC is enough. What are you views on that?

I also have a UK NARIC conversion of her Law degree in Egypt which they confirmed in writing to be equivalent to UK Bachelors degree. I think this might do the trick. I will probably speak to them tomorrow for clarity.

Thank you

ILR LR -English Language Requirement

Hello Folks, I am in the process of applying for ILR for my partner under 10 year rule. I have a query in relation to the English language requirement. She is from a non-English speaking country and did pass her B1 Certificate from Trinity College London in 2015 in preparation for a SET(O) applicati...

Re: Grandmother's UK visa application from Pakistan rejected for my wedding in April - Urgent

Sorry to hear about the rejection of your grandma’s visa. They are getting quite strick nowadays with visit visas and sometimes it’s not really fair because you have to apply again and there is no right of appeal. My father who has been coming to the UK for 10 years had his visa refused!! however he...

Re: FLR(M) dependant eligible for ILR?

Hi, My wife came to UK in 2011 as a TIER 1 dependant and spent 5 years on it. When I applied for my ILR through the10 year route she had to change her application to FLR M from SETO. She received her FLR M in March 2018. Does she have to spend another 5 years now before she can apply for ILR or is ...

Re: Free 15 or 30 Hours Child Care/ Montessori Nurseries

Hi,

If both parents see working 16 hours a week and earning min wage then you can claim 30 hours. There are other schemes too, I would suggest you to ask the nursery for information. Also gov.uk has plenty of info on their website.

I hope this helps.

Hi, She has to apply for UC online as add you as a partner. When you go for your interview apparently there is a habitual residency test so they will work out that you aren’t eligible. It shouldn’t affect your visa as far as I am concerned. UC is a pain in the *** and I think they brought it to make...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

This is unbelievable. 6 months waiting even after interview. They're so unfair. Taking fee of a highest level. These fees do not match or come closer to any same sort of service in the UK or Europe. Whereas the service level and delays also not this poor in anything else. Is their any body in the U...

Hi Devi 2211,

When you say HMRC amended their records, does this mean they sent you a SA302? I have heard that they not updating it but only sending amended assessment letter.

Thanks,
Nas
