Application sent over 6 months ago - Ways to contact UKBA

Hi guys, Unfortunately my app has 'fallen in the back of the draw' somewhere since 13th of March 13. I have chased UKBA using the e-mail addresses, filed an official complaint, wrote to my local MP who agreed to write to the Director to chase this up. UKBA are aware that I had done those things and ...

Contacting MP info

Hi, My Naturalisation decision is still not here - applied on 13/03/2013 through NCS. I am aware that it is pretty pointless contacting the local MP before 6 months has passed, however I just want to be prepared. Please could somebody advise how to contact the MP in the area & what the MPs can actua...

Hi,

When I had my NCS appointment, the lady said that they only send a copy of it as it's in their guidelines, UKBA have electronic proof of Life in the UK Certificate on their systems. Perhaps explain this in the 'further information' section of the AN form and provide a reference number, if known.

Hi,

I would suggest checking the back of AN form, it states what you need to provide for each section.

You could take wage slips or P45/P60/letters from employer with you, if you have been a worker.

I'm still waiting for my decision also. Straight forward EEA national, 5 years PR + 1 year.

I applied on the 13th March, but they did not debit my payment for 2 and a half weeks.

We just have to be patient. It seems that spouse applications get processed as a priority.

Hi, Actually they did say to send it to The Capital, but I just sent it to the PO Box one and they debited the fee within 4 working days. I don't think it matters which address you send it to that much - must end up in the same place! Did they try to debit the payment from you and failed or did they...

Hi there, I just posted it to: UKBA North West Region Nationality Team PO BOX 306 Liverpool L2 0QN They debited the fee pretty fast. I recommend sending the payment to them using Recorded Delivery (i.e. 1st class sign for). It seems it's been an issue as a friend of mine had her appointment at NCS y...

Thanks They can take a little while to debit the fees (a week or so). They will write to you to acknowledge the...

Thank you for your reply. I got in touch with my bank, LTSB and they advised that there was a decline on the card. UKBA entered incorrect details which caused the payment to fail. Hi,

I've done quite a lot of research into the 'Good Character' requirement and there is nothing that states bad credit would make you a bad candidate.

I have however read that it is best to declare if you have been declared yourself bankrupt.

Good luck!
