Re: How to understand abbreviation

That's probably connected with decision to curtail or not to curtail leave due to break up relations and later with reconciliation. These are probably decision making units. Something from that area. Nothing particularly important, but I tried to understand the name of the units and the only thing t...

Hi! How was your case resolved? Was a non-mol considered to be a civil judgement or was arrest or maybe something else?

Employer can write that I was working remotely, of it is better
In my opinion, yes. Assuming you haven't exceeded the 180 day absence limit, I can't see there would be an issue with your ILR.
Ok, thanks. I didn't exceed 180 days. Think that employer can write that I worked remotely easily.

My point was that your employer can hardly explain your absence by stating that you were working from home. You were working remotely from outside of the UK.
Can it be a problem when applying for ilr? It happened couple of times due to flight delays or between winter holidays

How can you have been 'working from home' when you were outside of the UK during that time?
Using remote access. The question was not about how I managed to work remotely

Work from home while abroad

During my time on Tier 2 visa I had few days something like 4 or 5 during the whole period when I was working from home while I was abroad. It was either agreed with management or it was due to the canceled or delayed flight. Now I'm about to apply for ILR and my employer needs to fill absence from ...

Re: rcos start date and actual start date

Thanks iworker. Have you also faced that situation?
So it means that intended start date is just indicative and could be ignored?
I read in guidance that employer must inform Home Office if an employee missed his/her day at work for whatever reason. That's why I'm a bit confused.

rcos start date and actual start date

Dear members, Could you please help me with the following issue. Intended start date in my rcos is July, 1, while I only got my visa on that date and managed to enter the UK on July, 5 and started work on July, 7. Not sure if my employer informed UKVI(not sure if he had to) about that because the ac...

Tier2 extension/ILR PR from another country

A bit strange question, but just want to be sure.

Recently I obtained permanent residency status in Canada that I'm planning to use as plan b. Can it somehow prevent me from extending my Tier 2 visa or obtaining UK IRL if I decide to stay in the UK?
Couldn't find anything, but just in case&

Re: Employment requirement calculation

What if I employ one person for 4 months and the other for 20 months, will this qualify for extension? As in the guidance they say that under transitional arrangement it is acceptable to employ 1 person for 24 months or 1 for 18 month and the other for 6 month. @ Dasistfact, yes you can do that. Ch...

Re: director's salary

Yes, it will meet the investment requirement. As long as own remuneration doesn't dig in to 200K spent on eligible expenses, it is OK! Thanks. What do you think, how do they calculate investment? Do they just add all investment installments during previous 3 years (let's say 250) and deduct ineligi...

Hello, would be great if you share your views. In order to qualify for extension we need to invest 50/200 000 GBP into our companies. Sorry for short answer 1) yes you can. Also ILR holders are considered as settled persons 2) yes. Only your own renumeration is not considered as proper investment. Anyway at the initial stage all employees in all companies get their salaries from investors/founders However if you have IT business a...

Just a small amendment. Loan agreement doesn't need to be signed by anybody else but director(you). If an accountant or any legal representative signs it- it's fine, if not- it shouldn't be a problem.
