Re: Visitor Visa - Stayed longer than mentioned during previous visit

There was no specific reason for extending the stay. The visa was granted for six months so we assumed that the stay could be extended as long as it is within the validity period. But, it seems this can be an issue for subsequent applications. We will ensure this time that the actual stay is same as...

Re: Parents Visa rejected for not showing assets.

The visa applicants have to demonstrate that they intend to return to their home country after their visit and will not take up employment in UK. The property documents and pension income are a good evidence of ties to home country and financial status. Make sure that your parents submit their own b...

Re: Visit Visa Fee & £85 ?

If you are applying for a single visit which is less than 6 months, it is £85.

The 10 year visa is valid for 10 years but your parents can't stay for more than 6 months in a single visit.

If you are applying for the first time, I would suggest to apply for the £85 pound visa.

Hi All, I am applying for a family visitor visa for my in-laws soon. I currently have ILR. I am ready to provide my bank statements and payslips which should be enough to cover their stay. The guidance mentions that: Where short visits outside the UK, on weekends or other non-working days have taken place, evidence from the employer must be provided to confirm the applicant’s normal working pattern and show the absences occurred during a non-working period. This sentence looks confusi...

You would like to think that it was a suggestion only 'if required' but that's not how it reads in your original posts. You are, in fact, serving to confirm that he needs evidence and that X can be used in lieu of Y. This perpetuates the myth that many now believe to be true. I don't know why you t...

I don't know the exact reason for this. It's because people like you keep posting on forums saying they should! Just as you are doing here. It is uninformed guessing that merely serves to confuse and misdirect. I have not mentioned anywhere that the tenancy agreement should be submitted. I just gav...
