Thank you all for the encouragement but l will be seeing the solicitor next week as there is no deadline for reconsideration and will keep you informed but it's so annoying I applied in May waiting for all that time for them to change their rules anyway let's wait and see.

Update, refusal good character that in 2008/2009 when l was on student visa I worked more than 20 hours a week and therefore l don't meet the good character requirement. Re-consideration forms are enclosed with it. Advise please is that a good character requirement or they are just being mean

I think we should creat a timeline for April,May and June so we know how many have been waiting for long than 5months because some of us are May applicants who have not had anything from them yet.

Not really we are there still waiting, I applied 27/05/14 and still no news yet. It seems to me no difference between UKBA and Homeoffice.

I am one of the people that waited 9 months for their indefinite leave to be approved , can some one please help me with a template to use to write to home office about that paragraph 7.5 and the 15months rule, I have had indefinite leave for 10 months now.

just an update l called homeoffice this afternoon and they have said they sent out a pack for me this morning to my solicitors and she gave me a tracking number lam so nervous don't know what's in it. I applied on the 6/August /2012. Wish me luck can't eat anything now
