Would this apply to elderly parents or widow? Does it mean a British citizen can bring his/her widow Mum permanently in the UK?

I submitted my OCI application at London on 10 October. The online status is saying 'Under Process'. How long is it taking these days to process the applications, please?

I submitted my OCI application and was only asked to submit Naturalisation and Surrender certificate. Is this normal? I wasn't asked for birth certificate, school leaving certificate or cancelled Indian passport. Secondly, how much time does it realistically take for the application to be processed?...

I am really confused about the procedure for OCI.

Once I have completed the online OCI application do I need to go to VFS?

Or I need to wait for my online application status to change "OCI received in London" then I need to go to VFS.

I am having problems uploading my photo and signature on the online application.

What does this mean and how I can do it?
Req minimum dimensions[w x h] : [200 x 200]

I don't have a birth certificate but have the original higher secondary school certificate with date of birth etc. Will that be ok?

I have my higher secondary and senior secondary certificates in original. The higher secondary certificate also gives my date of birth. Will they be ok for OCI application or do I still need school leaving certificate?

I have applied for a six months tourist visa for India but will only be staying there for upto a month.

If need be, can I apply again for a month's visa when my six month's visa expires

I did my senior secondary in 1995. Do I need a school leaving certificate dated 1995 or I can obtain one from my school now dated for this month? Will it then need to be attested by District Magistrate?

I have an appointment to surrender Indian passport tomorrow at Battleship building, Harrow Road. How far is it from Paddington tube station if I walk?

Is this centre different from Gosswell as I can see most people have had their appointment there.
