Re: Naturalisation application - am I an overstayer?

Hello everyone I am planning to apply for naturalisation in few days, I would be very grateful for any help. I had post study work (PSW) visa valid until 30 Aug 2013. I made an application for EEA residence card as an extended family member (durable partner) on 03 Jul 2013. This was then approved a...

Re: Naturalisation application - am I an overstayer?

Keep in mind that if the naturalisation application is rejected (and it is quite likely, based on the overstay), you lose the application fee (minus a refund of the £80 for the citizenship ceremony). So factor in whether you can afford to lose approximately £1100. Thank you very much for the advice.

Re: Naturalisation application - am I an overstayer?

The period between 30 Aug 2013 (PSW expired) and 02 Nov 2013 (EEA residence card issued), does this count as an overstay for the purpose of good character requirement (As section 3c does not apply)? Yes, you had no valid leave to remain from the date your psw visa expired till the EEA EFM RC was is...

As I mentioned before, I received my EEA2 Residence Card on 2nd Nov 2013 on the basis of Unmarried Partner. And, I did apply in October 2017 for the PR using the Tribunal case as my basis, as I mentioned on my earlier post. I have now received letter from hone office. They insist that I qualify for...

EEA PR online application signature

Hello

I've just completed the online application form for PR. Do I need to sign somewhere on the printed copy before I send it? I can't seem to find any place for signatures.

Many thanks

Re: European Passport Return Service / Request Passport Back

I have contacted few Councils and I thought I would share it here, if someone is looking for the info. Non-EEA national can also use the EPRS service as long as the main applicant is an EEA national. Although, few councils still only accept the application from EEA national only. The councils accept...

European Passport Return Service / Request Passport Back

Hi, I am a Non-EEA family member. My partner (EEA national) and myself are planning to apply for PR together in few days (by the end of this month). But we are going to need our passports back to travel on end of November. - Hence, I was thinking to use European Passport Return Service (EPRS), as no...

Re: EEA4 (PR) application enquiry

Thank you very much Richard W, My partner has been in the UK for more than 10 years and I was thinking to apply for her PR as well at the same time as mine. Re: EEA4 (PR) application enquiry

Just to be absolutely clear, will I have to apply on 2nd Nov 2018 or after? If that's the case and apply after 2nd Nov 2018, doesn't that make me an overstayer? No, because as your card expires, you become a permanent resident. Also, is anyone able to please advise on the COA with right to work? I ...

Re: ILR (LR) application with 4 year on EEA RC

Thank you CR001, As the time spent with EEA Residence Card does not come under UK immigration law, for the purpose of 10 years discretion is applied. Similarly, if there would be an intime application to switch from UK immigration category to EEA category, and while doing so if there is a gap betwee...

Re: Holiday to Belguim with EEA2 RC - From SS Route

Hi Freda, You won't have any problem travelling without visa. I have EEA2 Residence Card and I've been travelling around the EU many times without any problem, without even a single question. They don't normally ask any question at the border but I would suggest you to take the marriage certificate ...
