Anyone experienced with an Unmarried Partner or Fiance Visa?

Is there anyone who applied for either of these visas and didn't meet all of the criteria, perfectly? Are application decisions based solely on meeting the exact criteria, or person by person circumstances? Are they very strict on the matter of both partners having had already lived together prior ...

I would not recommend that you purchase a one way ticket from North America and then expect to be admitted anywhere in Europe (including the UK). If I have an onward ticket to Germany, then why would the UK care about whether not I have a return? Isn't it their job to make sure I leave the country ...

Do you have a ticket out of Europe back to NA already reserved from the UK? I actually have not purchased any tickets, yet. What is your suggestion? I was planning to purchase a one way to England, then purchase a one way to Germany, and just present the onward Germany ticket to British immigration.

Entry to the Schengen zone will be (or rather should be) exactly the same no matter what route you take. As a non-visa national, you will not require a visa in advance. You will however require to have sufficient funds, etc, etc. I know that I will not require a visa. I know what I need to provide ...

In general it is likely not an issue. If you have a credit card then you can purchase a ticket out. Or choose to take the train to Paris. Or take a bus to.... Having a money and a north american passport means you are not likely to have problems. Well, another idea we had, was to go through Holland ...

Will you be travelling with an EU citizen family member? If so what is their citizenship? He isn't my family by law or by blood, unfortunately. He is a British citizen who is currently living and studying in Germany. We planned to go back together and I was going to wait to purchase my return ...

Travelling within the EU (particularly to Germany)

Hello, I will be travelling from England directly to Germany in a few months, and I wanted to know if I will have to go through German immigration? I'm sorry if it's a silly question, but I have never done this, before, and I only read that I'd have to clear customs since England is an EU country ...

According to these requirements, both partners have had to met in person. It seems that they already know that there's a possibility that both partners may have never lived together before, or no? I don't understand how they can except both partners to have lived together previously, when trying to ...

No, we've never lived together and shared expenses, before. Would it be the same if he tried moving here with me?

Moving to UK without marriage???

Hello! I have a few questions and I hope that some can help me. I'm an American citizen, and my partner is a British citizen. We would like to live together in England at some point, but it seems nearly impossible to do so without a secured job, or marriage. Is there any other way? I read on another ...
