Yes, they have stopped giving U visa sticker wef from 01/10/2015... All the new OCI applicants wont have that sticker in their British PP.

There is no other way than to apply for 6 months tourist visa the best you may get multiple entry for her. As Pakistani/British she is not eligible for OCI or PIO card if you are interested in that.

If you manage to get UK passport then it is not advisable to travel on Indian passport. You would hv to pay fine later. The rule of 3 months valid travel is only when you don't have any foreign passport and only became UK citizen so in practical terms you just have your naturalisation certificate. T...

No documents is required apart from your ILR BRP, passport and English test and LIUK. I would suggest to use NCS services then you dont even have to send any of your orginal documents and photocopy would do.

Globalindian, Deliberately they sent letters 2nd class so that you dont get this information that your application is approved and also to manage council activities as they have to prepare the ceremony. My Referees were not contacted during the process, I guess that is only randomly. Get NARIC certificates for your own peace of mind. Otherwise it should generally be fine if it is shown on PBS calculator

This is non issue as most of us who have applied has given the BRP card back to HO.

I would only say you would be fine with your passport and the latest BRP when you go to your NCS.

I would suggest dont get into that conversation at all and just finish of this task by driving there. In recent times the services of HO has gone worse and they are not able to do their work properly.

If I were you I would have bothered and would have just done with it :)
