Re: Urgent 10 Year ILR Query

Declare it and apply and you should be fine.
This is a civil matter not a criminal one.
The impact is directly on your credit rating.
The fact that you are attempting to repay via instalments is a plus for your integrity.
Non-Disclosure will prove to be a serious ground for refusal.

Re: Queries about my Absences date

That is correct. While the total absences is well below the discretionary limit, in the last year you have more than exceeded double the 90 days limit. If you plan to be here you can as well wait and apply. However if you need your passport urgently and wish to test their discretion, you will need t...

Re: British Citizenship after long absences

AndyGandhi, There is no distinction between personal absences and Official absences as such. However in exercising discretion they will consider that absences were due to nature of the job/service and its a plus if you were in crown service or on behalf of a British company abroad. You say when you ...

Re: AN Form 1.23-1.30 - Parents exact date of birth not know

Shahid2000, The purpose of this section in Form AN is to decide whether you are already naturalised by descent without your knowing it. Many people may not be aware of the date of birth or date of marriage of their parents which would have taken place in remote villages where there was no formal sys...

Re: ILR in may 2014 - will Job change have an effect?

Vidyakrish,

Sincerest apologies. The krish in your nick gave me the wrong impression that you were male. You dont have to be on a job as far as you have met the requirements.

Once you get your ILR the damocles sword of financial targets will vanish altogether.
Good Luck.

If this is less than 5 years before the date on which we receive the application, or less than 3 years before this date if you are ma...
